Here we have Cael (the kitty from Parallel Parchment) holding on for dear life to a rampaging butterook.
...ah, you say, and what is a Butterook?
A butterook is nothing less than a flying book, an obvious cross between a butterfly and a book. They hatch from bookworms, and tend to congregate around the better-lit areas of the Library of the Lost, and whole flocks of them are known to inhabit the Main Gallery of Learning. They are brightly colored, extremely beautiful, and rampantly unpredictable.
In case you haven't guessed, yes, these will be showing up in the comic. Eventually. I make no promises as to when.
This is another quickie from ACen...this is actually version 2, since the first version was sold. Original is for sale; 4x5" on cardstock. Prints also available.
